Do you want to identify a hypocrite so you could run away from him?
Do you want to know if a person is of God before you could build a family?
Do you want to know if your boyfriend is of God?
Do you want to know if a person is of God before you sign a partnership?
Do you want to know if a pastor is of God so you could listen to his message?
Do you want to know if a church is led by the Spirit of God?
Do you want to know if your brother is of God?
Here’s the tip:
Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” Matthew 16.24
Sacrifice, sacrifice and sacrifice.
Truly, this is the only action that separates:
A true follower from a false follower;
A sincere person from a hypocrite;
The faithful from the unfaithful;
Those who were chosen from those who were called;
Those who serve God from those who do not serve Him.
The children of the flesh hate to sacrifice.
They know that sacrifice requires courage for complete and unconditional surrender. And because they are cowards, they run away.
I doubt that a hypocrite has the courage to deny himself, take up the cross, and follow Jesus.
Do you know why?
Because hypocrites want everything to be done for them, they want things to come easy; this is, they want personal advantages or benefits. They only think about themselves.
The hypocrites considered the offering more important than the Altar.
Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gift or the Altar that sanctifies the gift? Matthew 23.19
