The Son of God came to the world to do the will of God the Father and bring forth other children of God. The other children of God have the Lord Jesus as a reference of what it really means to be a child of God. If the First Son of God came to the world to do His Father’s will, all the other children of God should have the same will and determination.
For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. John 6.38
Only those born of God are His children and show it by prioritizing His will in their lives.
Why were Noah, Abraham, Moses, Joshua, Jephthah, David, the prophets, the apostles, and all those who continue preaching the Gospel called, chosen and sealed with the Holy Spirit? To serve themselves? To conquer the world, fulfill the desires of the flesh and do their own wills?
Did the Lord Jesus Christ pay the price of Salvation so that you can enjoy the pleasures of the flesh in this world?
If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable. 1 Corinthians 15.19
When a person’s faith is limited to receiving God’s favors to enjoy this world, he is certainly disdaining the greatest Divine reward: eternal life. He becomes the most miserable of all other creations.
Many Christians have insisted on prioritizing the faith in earthly achievements at any cost. Intelligent faith is a gift from God. It is the Power of God to call many and separate the chosen for the eternal Salvation of the soul. The main purpose of intelligent faith is forgiveness, justification and salvation of the soul. God has not given His Power to conquer only perishable things that have an expiration date. Note what the Lord Jesus says:
For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? Matthew 16.26
Of course, we all have to take care of our body, keep it clean and healthy to serve as the Temple of the Holy Spirit. But what is more important: the body or the soul? The body, we already know, has an expiration date; no one can keep from dying. But what about the soul, is there an expiration date for it? Of course not! It is eternal. Whether you spend eternity with God or with Satan, it depends on the choice that you make HERE ON EARTH.
Those who apply their faith to the eternal Salvation of their soul are wise. Those who do not are considered foolish to God Almighty. The baptism with the Holy Spirit is the Seal of God’s exclusive property. Whoever is baptized with the Holy Spirit has the guarantee of the eternity of his soul with God. Therefore, he endures affronts, injustices, persecutions, and resists sins to bloodshed. The reason many still do not possess this Seal of God is that they have not yet resisted to bloodshed, this is, they have not yet sacrificed all their flesh.
You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin. Hebrews 12.4
