When the Spirit of God dwells in someone, there is, naturally, a character that surpasses others who do not possess Him. This is the character of God.
Noah, Job and Daniel were servants who overcame more than others.
Noah’s entire story, for example, could be summed up in a single verse:
Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God. Genesis 6.9
Job was no different.
There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil. Job 1.1
Even though in Babylonian captivity, Daniel also decided…
Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank… Daniel 1.8
This is, if he didn’t allow himself to enjoy the delicacies of the king, let alone regarding other sins.
The character of God is summarized:
1 – Integrity and righteousness – relationship with others;
2 – Fear of God – relationship with God; and
3 – Turn away from evil – relationship of self with the world.
Whoever lives within these parameters will survive in this world and obtain eternal life.
