Once Upon a time…

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful country, giant by nature, where the people were heroic and had a resounding outcry.

A country where the sun of freedom shone in bright, vivid rays.

A nation that, nourished with love and hope, did not flee from war, for its people understood that their love for their country led them to fight against evil, and not turn a blind eye because they were given a sack of cassava from some foreigners.

It was once a place where people honored their families and their faith, a place where the children of the land had a kind mother, and the homeland was worshiped and protected.

Once upon a time, there was a nation that held up a strong club, moved forward and never ran away from a battle, much less feared death.

A strong country of honorable people, who understood that the figure of a king should be strong and show love to his people, win wars, not distribute a bag of food to gain the sympathy and control of the poor.

Once upon a time, there was a country where people understood the importance of battles and knew that they were the only way to achieve much-desired freedom.

A nation where the only red they knew was the urucum used to paint the face of its beautiful Indian people.

A country that fought for its green and yellow.

This country knew how to keep its faith and did not mix right with wrong just to look modern and engage in globalism.

This country used to value its roots, not just the branches. People gave importance to what was not seen by naked eyes, because there was no fake news, there were only citizens who spoke the truth, even if their words were strong.

Yes, this country knew how to value its roots, not only the leaves or the fruits!

Amongst a thousand others, you are Brazil, my beloved country!
