Then you shall again discern between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him. Malachi 3.18
When God promises to show the difference again, it’s clear that what He did in the lives of the servants of the past, He will also do in the lives of the servants of the present.
And more: He is very interested in doing this so the world can see the difference between those who serve Him and those who do not serve Him.
He made this difference in the lives of Noah, Job, Abraham, Isaac, Israel, Moses, Joshua, and all the others who feared Him and walked in His righteousness.
And speaking of righteousness, note that He promises to show the difference between the righteous and the wicked. Why not the just and the unjust?
The reason is that the unjust is evil.
He is perverse because he doesn’t consider the price of the ransom paid by the Lord;
He is perverse because he rejects His offering of salvation;
He is perverse because he has no consideration for what He did to rescue him;
He is perverse because he thinks he’s his own master;
He is perverse because he ignores all the sacrifices Jesus made for him.
Yes, there must be an extraordinary, brutal and evident difference so there’s no doubt between those who are and those who are not of God.
Jesus repeated this promise when He said:
He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water. John 7.38
I cannot imagine myself believing in the Lord Jesus, according to the Holy Bible, and have a similar or worse quality of life than those who do not believe. That would not be fair on God’s part. Or would it?
Have you thought about this?
You have confessed to believing in Jesus, and at the same time your life has been a living hell at home, at work, at school, on the street; this is, you have no peace, joy…
There is only happiness when your team wins, but it’s still only for a moment.
Other than this, all you do is manage problems, constant headaches, insomnia, nervousness, depression, sadness, suicidal thoughts, disastrous family life, rebellious children, disunity and so on…
Yet, you insist on saying that you believe in Jesus…
What is wrong: your belief in Jesus is not true or the promises of God are not true?
Now, from the point of view of the living and true faith, those who believe in Jesus must have a quality of life that is different from the lives of those who do not believe. It is not possible to believe in Him according to His Word and there is no difference.
For this reason, in all the Universal Churches of the Kingdom of God, we will be in one Spirit, in one faith, in one heart before the Throne of the Most High, charging a life that is different.
Those who believe come with me.
Those who do not believe… What can I do?
