Those who are emotional have an emotional faith. They remain a living being, like the first man.
The first man Adam became a living being… 1 Corinthians 15.45
This is why they thirst to feel the Presence of God.
Usually, while seeking the Spirit of God, those who are emotional surrender to the emotions of the sacred music and are carried away by it. They do not think, they just feel. They burst into tears, assuming it’s the Holy Spirit, just because they feel a strong emotion. They even speak in tongues, convincing themselves they were baptized…
In other words, the emotional become enchanted and surrender to the emotions of their emotional environment. This is why many people have been fooled by their own hearts, which works in ally with a deceiving spirit.
Of course, they do not know they were deceived and remain convinced of this alleged “baptism.” They only find out that they were deceived over time when they realize the quality of their life has not changed. They remain the same person, living the same life as in the past. That feeling of having a void in their soul continues to be more and more constant…
On the other hand, God offers us an intelligent faith, a faith that thinks and seeks answers, according to the Promises of the Bible. This rational faith weighs, evaluates, confers, searches and charges what is written, followed by acts of obedience to the Holy Scripture. This is, abandoning all the filth of sin.
Then, with thirst and hunger to know Him, the person surrenders to seeking the Holy Spirit with sincerity, which is promised by the Lord Jesus, with all his strength before the Altar. When he receives the Spirit of God, he becomes a life-giving spirit, following the example of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The last Adam (Jesus) became a life-giving spirit. I Corinthians 15.45
