Emotional faith feels, rational faith thinks;
Emotional faith sees and attests to circumstances, rational faith believes in what is written;
Emotional faith, upon hearing the sound of the drums of war, trembles and fears. Upon hearing the war cry, rational faith sees, by faith, the Lord of hosts taking action;
Emotional faith makes decisions with the heart; rational faith makes decisions according to the Mind of Christ – the Holy Bible;
Emotional faith is inclined to the desires of the heart, especially because of what the eyes see and the ears hear. But rational faith is a servant of what is written;
Emotional faith is hot one minute and warm or cold the next minute, but rational faith does not care about what it feels. It simply believes. Regardless of what it feels or does not feel;
Emotional faith yearns to feel the presence of God in meetings, but rational faith no longer needs to feel because it is already sure of His presence.
As it is written:
For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.Matthew 18.20
Emotional faith is hostage to the voice of the heart, but rational faith is always attentive to the voice of the Holy Spirit;
Emotional faith wants because it wants to feel something at all costs. For this reason, its love life is a complete failure. No one can satisfy it. It’s a bottomless pit. The more it has, the more it wants. The void it carries inside increases by the minute.
However, the faith that thinks, reasons and, above all, meditates on the Word of God, knows that sooner or later it will be fulfilled. Like the Lord who, despite being hungry, did not surrender. Faith in the Word of God waits for the fulfillment of what IS WRITTEN!
Intelligent, rational, and supernatural faith is the Energy of God, the Breath of the Most High, the Cloud of God leading His people in the wilderness, the Pillar of Fire during the dark nights in the wilderness, the Shadow of the Most High, the Shelter of God, the Presence of God, the Spirit of God and the Lord Jesus Christ in Spirit among His people.
Those who have it are blessed and happy because they are permanently in communion with the Eternal God.
Those who do not have it are unfortunate and unhappy.
