We don’t choose to come into the world, but we have the power to choose where we’ll spend eternity.

What is living by faith?

People that belong to the world will never understand the meaning of living by faith.
Except when the god of the world, who has blinded their understanding, is cast out.
The language of faith is foolishness to the world because it is the language of God.

To live by faith is foolishness to the world, just as being worldly is foolishness to those of the faith. These two worlds are radically opposite one another.

This is so strong, but so strong, that those who love the world are considered enemies of God.

Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Tiago 4.4

Those who love the world only understand the language of glory, fame, success, vanity, sex, money, power, luxury; this is, obtained achievements. They care, delight and idolize matter. Their focus is to satisfy the flesh to the maximum for as long as they’re alive.

How could these people understand the language of God or faith?

But the wise look to the Word of the Most High, like this one, which says:

For yet a little while, and He who is coming will come and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, my soul has no pleasure in him. Hebrews 10.37-38

Contrary to the world, those who live by faith prioritize the spirit, nourishing it with the Word of God; they guard their soul against sin and do not neglect this matter.

To live by faith is to live in righteousness and by the righteousness of God. It is a life according to the discipline of His Word. And in everything, living each day in His dependence.

This is My righteous one.
