We don’t choose to come into the world, but we have the power to choose where we’ll spend eternity.

Congratulations to the Universal Church for its 40 years of existence! I was exceptionally well received, especially in regards to my career, because I was able to learn so much.

I am deeply convinced of my faith and my Jewish religion, but I have made real brothers and sisters among my Universal friends. I admire Bishop Edir Macedo for believing in people who are considered dead by society. He has never given up on someone and has shown that compassion and severity are essential tools in the daily battle against evil.

It was through the Universal Church that I visited a prison for the first time and saw broken and traumatized men being treated like people, receiving a bar of soap and a word of encouragement. It seems like such a small gesture, but it means so much to those who have nothing…

I saw them truly being rehabilitated into society; men who were addicts, promiscuous and poor became exemplary fathers and husbands. I saw women rediscover their worth, turn away from prostitution and learn to love themselves. I saw people being reborn into a fuller and happier life.

I saw people who were given a death sentence by a doctor, regain the hope to live and be healed (because healing begins in the mind!). This is faith put into practice.

And anyone who comes from nothing and stands up to the Globo TV Empire is worthy of tipping my hat to.
Mazal tov Universal!
