We don’t choose to come into the world, but we have the power to choose where we’ll spend eternity.

Those who are born of the Spirit know how to discern what is the will of God and what isn’t.

1–The will of God never raises doubts like what happens when it’s the will of man;

2–The will of God is always accompanied by complete conviction. This is FAITH;

3–The will of God is always in agreement with the Holy Bible. The same does not happen when it is the will of man;

4–The will of God involves, above all, interests of the Kingdom of God and glorifies Him;

5–When the will is of God, those born of the Spirit subject themselves to sacrifice their will for the will of God.

When Jesus was converting the Samaritan woman, His disciples returned from the city with food. And they said, “Master, eat.” But the Lord said to them:

I have food to eat of which you do not know. John 4.32

Indeed, because they were not born of the Spirit yet, they did not know the will of God the Father. The miracles they performed in obedience to Jesus’ command were only a small part of God’s will. But they would only know its fullness after being born again.

Then the Lord added:

My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. John 4.34

One of the most obvious examples of disobeying the will of God, which many who claim to be Christians do is date and marry people that are not born of the Spirit. Having their minds set on the idea of their right to be happy, many make a pact with darkness, claiming it to be the will of God because that’s how they feel.

The Holy Spirit instructs His children of the Church at Corinth:

O Corinthians! We have spoken openly to you, our heart is wide open. You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your own affections.

Now in return for the same (I speak as to children), you also be open. Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness?

And what communion has light with darkness?

And what accord has Christ with Belial?

Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?

And what agreement has the temple of God with idols?

For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you. 2 Corinthians 6.11-17
