Darlings,

Today I want to start by exposing some of the first #tasksasanoffering1 of the month —  it’s beautiful to see people giving to others without expecting anything in return, right? I’m sure that those who have done this task will not want to stop, you’ll continue and more, you’ll make this a new habit in your life! It’s simply #rewarding

The #TaskasanOffering2 will add even more to this first task. 🙂

This upcoming week (for those who want to make it a habit for the rest of your life), you will pray for people who have hurt you…

People who have treated you badly, who did not fulfill their role as a mother, father or child in your life, who spoke badly about you, who have done wrong against you, who hurt you, who used dirty tricks to harm you, who envy you, who criticize you, yelled at you, who bully you, and so on… people who have hurt you deeply.

You know, I have had several experiences like this. Sometime you look at my pictures on Instagram and think I’m all “love and smiles” lol… but it’s because I’m not going to pass on to you what will not help you, but yes, there are times when I get bad, difficult and disappointing news. There are times when I have to stop everything and pray for someone who is doing everything to get to me. And I’m well accustomed to this. 🙂 But it’s still not easy. It is not easy for you to give to people who just want to give you a slap in the face, but the Lord Jesus taught us that:

But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you.
To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either.
Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back.
And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.
“But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.
And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you?
For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back.
But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil.
Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful. Luke 6:27-36

Note that this is one of the conditions to being a child of the Most High… to be as He is, kind to the ungrateful and wicked.

Pray for your enemies, forgive those who wronged you, and never get tired of doing good to anyone, even those who apparently do not deserve it… that’s what it is to be merciful as our Father.

If you want you can share your experience with this task on your social networks without forgetting to add #taskasanoffering2 — so that we can see it too and cheer for you!

    #TaskAsAnOffering2
This offering really surprised me. I am not in the Godllywood and I really wanted to be in the group but for many reasons I wasn’t able to get into it.
Was advised in doing this task as an offering and to be honest I didn’t see the true Spirit behind it so much so that I stopped doing it after the 3rd offering and this particular one I simply prayed once and that’s it. Very sad.
Recently I was speaking with my Pr wife and she really explained to me the value and importance of these offerings and to consider them like a real Offering that we we usually give with care and joy. This really opened my eyes. Also, if I wanted to join the RUSH months I had to find myself ready for it so I took the challenge of starting again these tasks as an offering and God really blessed me. With this particular task I started praying for this person that really hurt me in the past and just after 2 days she messaged me, we started talking and she asked me to go out and re-establish our friendship. I was so surprised but very blessed, so much so that I am going to present an offering to God.
We always need to give value to the things of God because they are made to Bless us!

That was hard for me to do I think I liked holding on to the grudge. But after praying for the person who hurt me I felt a whole lot more lighter

In this 2nd task I prayed for people who have hurt me and left a wound my heart. After the prayer I felt better and I could face them in the office again. I have put the whole situation into God’s hands.

I begun the task by thinking about those how hurt me with either their words or actions. At first, I made very general/brief prayers but as I continued praying I started being more specific in prayer for God to bless every area of their lives. This has helped me to not allow anything contaminate my heart.
