We don’t choose to come into the world, but we have the power to choose where we’ll spend eternity.

I want it because I want it!

I want to be baptized with the Holy Spirit, but I also want to take part in “the joys of the flesh”: impossible;

I want a new life, but I do not want to stop going to parties or nightclubs: impossible;

I want the fulfillment of the prophecy, which is a life with abundance, but I also want to continue being “free” to do what suits me: impossible;

I want to take possession of my Promised Land, but I do not want to cross the Jordan River, or go beyond the walls of Jericho, let alone face the other intruders there: impossible;

I want to graduate, but I don’t want to study: impossible;

I want to earn money and have a stress-free life, but I don’t want to work too much: impossible;

I want to get married and be happy, but I don’t want to follow God’s advice and obey His Word: impossible;

I want to live by faith, but I do not want to sacrifice: impossible;

I want to have everything, but I do not want to pay the price: impossible;

I want to reap a lot, but I do not want to plant: impossible;

I want to make an omelet, but I do not want to break eggs: impossible.

No one makes a fool of God; what man sows, he will also reap. For he who sows to his own flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit of God will of the Spirit reap eternal life.
