We don’t choose to come into the world, but we have the power to choose where we’ll spend eternity.

When we see scenes of people destroying their lives, throwing themselves off the top of a building or in front of a car, or shooting themselves in the head, we ask, “how does he have the courage to commit such a drastic act”.

The answers are: problems with no apparent solution, such as debt, the loss of a great love, spousal betrayal, and so forth. But all these situations are arguments used by people who think that by having their soul separated from their body (death), they will go into an environment of peace and find the solution to their problems. However, they are wrong and unfortunately, plunge deep into an abyss where their new problem is insoluble and eternal.

“And when He stepped out on the land, there met Him a certain man from the city who had demons for a long time. And he wore no clothes, nor did he live in a house but in the tombs,” Luke 8.27

When we take a closer look at the Word of God, we see that the courage of taking your own life comes from the unbearable torment done by the devil, who uses the situations mentioned above.

The Gadarene felt like this. He lived among the tombs seeking relief. He did not wear clothes because his agony was so great that even clothes bothered him. Instead of living at home, he spent his days wandering around. How many people live like this? Or maybe you are reading this message and find yourself in this situation?

“For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For it had often seized him, and he was kept under guard, bound with chains and shackles, and he broke the bonds and was driven by the demon into the wilderness,” Luke 8.29

There were so many demons tormenting that poor man, that he hallucinated, and his strength multiplied to the point of shattering chains and shackles.

The Lord Jesus ordered those demons to leave the man and they attacked the pigs that were grazing nearby. Notice how they reacted to the thought of being tormented in hell.

“Then the demons went out of the man and entered the swine, and the herd ran violently down the steep place into the lake and drowned,” Luke 8.33

Now I understand the courage of giving up on life, or someone hurting themselves to death. They just want to put an end to their suffering, which is caused by the devil, thinking that their motive is one of the situations mentioned above. Therefore, all of us who have the knowledge of the love and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, can not tire of doing what is good, showing these people a light at the end of the tunnel and fighting for their souls, until the last seconds of our life here on earth.

Be a soul winner.

Where you live, work or study, surely there is someone thinking, thought or has attempted to commit suicide. God is counting on you to prevent such a tragedy!

God bless you!

I greet all in the Mighty Name of Jesus, this is how Got came into my life during these 21 days of the fast of Daniel. I made a prayer to God, that I have been telling myself that I have received the Holy Spirit, may I have the assurance, I took my Envelope for Sacrifice, I dint have anything to sacrifice, even petrol in my car. On Friday 12 April, I took a day off at work, I told myself that I will find a way to raise my sacrifice, I took my last P20, put petrol, went around the nearest villagies around Gaborone, delivering people, but the difficult was that when I come back, I have to put petrol again, for the whole day I did my sacrifice, Saturday evening I knelt down and told God, tomorrow, Sunday, I wont leave your House without the assurance of my salvation. God assured me, I am very very happy inside. On Monday, 15 April, my sister called me from Orapa, that she is on sick leave she had a headache, I just sent her a message that Be Healed and Jesus’s Name. Tuesday morning, at around 0500 a.m. she sent a msg that, you know what after reading you message, I completely god healed and I went outside feeling like something has been removed from my body, she said thank you for your prayer, I said, THANK YOU JESUS. Ke leboga Modimo ebile ke ikaelela go direla Modimo ka bojotlhe jame. Modimo o segofatse o bo o godise kereke ya Universal. Amen
